Turning her eyes towards the little one she had spotted her right off. Shaking her large head she kept shuffling her bear body towards the lake. She didn’t want to deal with Loki today. It was such a bother. Why had she stuck with this burden? Aspen often wondered why she was doomed to live this life with a little coyote. The trickster was always getting her into trouble. Looking at her as she just blabbered on and on about any and everything. She had gotten good at tuning her out.
Getting to the lake she sat down and enjoyed the sun and the breeze. It was nice, except for that ever blathering on mouth of Loki’s. It was terrible. And to think that it would be forever for her to hear it. So it felt at least. Looking down at the little dog she rolled her eyes and looked down at her reflection. If only she wasn’t such a mother. She would put up with it for as long as Loki was around. Even if it meant being stuck with her for eternity.
